Pacific Power Motorsports was founded in 2006 by three partners, Eric Leman, Wayne VanNorsdall and Jeff Kost. In 2021, the name was updated to PPM German Autowerk to better reflect the company’s focus. Originally founded to enable the partners to pursue their passion for Porsche cars, the original mission of PPM German Autowerk was to proactively lead the development of the local Porsche racing community while providing a much needed high quality shop to maintain, service and repair Porsche cars. Over time, given the owners long experience and passion for not just Porsche cars, but all German cars, PPM German Autowerk has evolved into a successful German auto repair and service shop.

From the rear engine 356 to the latest 992, the mid engine 914, Boxster and Cayman, front engine 924, 944 and 928 as well as the Cayenne, Panamera and Macan, we know German cars!
This is the most often asked question and the one most likely to blow up the internet! We generally recommend what the factory says to use, but there are times when it is appropriate to deviate. Give us a call to discuss the needs of your vehicle.
This is almost always a case of the factory knows best. So at minimum, we’ll follow what the manufacturer says. However, there are many cases when a shorter interval is better. Do you drive your car hard? Does it see an autocross or track day? Does it sit parked for months at a time? Call us to discuss!
Your manual likely has a place for you to keep track of services for your vehicle, if not, put together a binder of what services are done, when, by who and how much it costs. Having the records organized will make keeping up with maintenance easier. As an additional benefit, if you ever decide to sell your car, those with complete service histories typically sell for more than those with no records.
